Osvaldo Raiteri vintage motorbike exhibition

The vintage motorcycle exhibition opens in Castellazzo Bormida "Feast of the Centaurs" with the "Vintage Motorcycle Exhibition «Osvaldo Raiteri» in Castellazzo Bormida" dedicated to the runner Osvaldo Raiteri

For some years, with the approval of the rector of the Sanctuary, Don Vincenzo, the exhibition of collectors' vintage motorbikes has been held inside the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Creta, protector of all centaurs.

As he points out Marco Verrino, president of the Castellazzo Bormida Moto Club, from Saturday 4 July the exhibition of motorcycle memorabilia will directly involve the families of the town. For this special occasion, collectors from Castellazzo and nearby municipalities will display authentic two-wheeled rarities.

The motorbike is a permanent presence Panther with whom Francesco Azzardi in 1933 he left Castellazzo Bormida together with Marco Re and eight other people from Castellazzo to participate in the "Gathering of the Centaurs", the first parade in Rome. The original emblem of that bike is still on that bike rally "which represents the beginning of everything, of the Moto Club Castellazzo Bormida and of the international Motorcycle Rally"

The centaurs, like every year since '46, are expected both from abroad and from the provinces of the Bel Paese and will be welcomed with a rich program, the musical evenings will begin on Thursday.

The exhibition will be open to visitors during opening hours on Sanctuary of the Madonna della Creta and delle Grazie, 09:00 - 13:00 and 16:30 - 19:30, except liturgical celebrations)
